Quick and Easy COVID-19 Testing at No Cost to You!

The City of Rancho Mirage is opening its first drive-through Covid-19 testing site on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

Testing will take place 5 days a week, Tuesday – Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through December 31, 2020. Tests are free, contactless, and self- administered through Curative, which has completed more than six million such tests in 15 states across the U.S.

State of California Issues 10:00 p.m. Curfew

Effective November 21, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. (PST), all counties in Tier One (Purple) of California’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy, must abide by the State Public Health Officers order requiring all gatherings with members of other households and all activities conducted outside the residence with members of other households cease between the hours of 10:00 p.m. (PST) and 5:00 a.m. (PST)….

STATE ISSUES 10 PM CURFEW FOR PURPLE TIER COUNTIES 

In light of the rapid rise in COVID-19 cases across California, Governor Gavin Newsom and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) today announced a limited Stay at Home Order requiring generally that non-essential work, movement and gatherings stop between 10 PM and 5 AM in counties in the purple tier.

STATE OF CALIFORNIA UPDATES MANDATORY FACE-COVERING ORDER
November 17, 2020

The State of California  has updated its face-covering guidance, which mandates that a face-covering is required at all times when outside of the home, with some exceptions. It mandates that face-coverings be worn statewide in certain circumstances and with exceptions.  It does not substitute for existing guidance about social distancing and handwashing.
